The honest counterpoint: historians see cherry-picking here. Pick any interval and comb three thousand years of records and you will find disasters on the beats. That critique matters, and this page keeps it in frame.
Late 2046: The Hardware Scrub.
Six and a half years after the claimed Phoenix comes the theory's main event: Nemesis, a dense, dark planetary mass on a 792-year orbit. The claim: its gravity unlocks the crust from the core. Poles slide, oceans slosh, coastlines are rewritten, and everything that made the modern world modern is buried. The same 792-year drumbeat, the theory says, already toppled empires on schedule.
2046 Is The Catalyst. Not The Curtain.
Here is the part almost everyone gets wrong when they first hear this theory. In the Archaix model the world does not end in 2046. The model runs all the way to 2178. That leaves roughly 132 years of aftermath: a planet with no grid, no factories, no refineries, and no way to make another microchip.

The prophecies describe swords in a world that has jets. A dead grid is the only bridge between those two pictures, and that is exactly the bridge this theory builds.
2046 Is Not The Sun Rising From The West.
This needs its own section because it is the most common mix-up. The sun rising from its place of setting is one of the great final signs, the moment the door of repentance closes. Nothing on this page places that in 2046. Even the theory itself does not.
2046 Is Silent. The Sky Event Is 2178.
In the Archaix model, 2046 is a tectonic event: violent, world-changing, but the sun keeps rising in the east the whole time. What the forums notice is the shared silhouette in both stories: the sun misbehaves, the sky changes, the grid dies, and technology becomes the first casualty. The same silhouette the narrations paint with smoke, famine, and swords.
